There are several devices that can protect your pump
and motor. If you have a low yield well with a submersible
pump you can use Franklin Pumptec and Pumptec Plus.
The Pumptec will not work with a Constant Pressure device.
The Pumptec is an electronic device that will sense
low amperage when a pump runs out of water or the pump has
worn parts broken shaft etc. The low amp conditions will
then shut the motor off for an adjustable amount of time,
or until manually reset.
