The lake strainer (below) with the Submersible
pump in it can be dropped into a lake or stream. The water
is then pushed up to your sprinklers or cabin by the Submersible
pump. A mesh bag not much unlike your window screening is
made to slip over the entire unit then a drawstring fastens
it to the strainer at the top. Bags can be ordered seperately.
These units are built to order by Pumpsandtanks. Pumps from
1/2hp to 5 hp are typically used. "Strainer bag
